Everything you need to know before riding with Harley Tours Thailand. Clear answers. No surprises. Just great touring.
Most international guests fly into Bangkok (BKK), then connect to Chiang Mai (CNX). Flight time is approximately 1 hour 10 minutes.
We strongly recommend arriving in Chiang Mai at least one day before your tour begins.
Airport and railway station transfers in Chiang Mai are provided.

Riders must hold valid travel and medical insurance that covers motorcycle riding, preferably including:
• Emergency medical treatment
• Ambulance services
• Medical repatriation
All Harley-Davidson motorcycles must be insured with our first-class coverage.
First-class insurance costs 8,000 THB per rider, per tour.
A compulsory 20,000 THB insurance excess applies to any incident.
This insurance does not cover bike damage.

Your personal travel insurance must cover you for medical expenses.
THAI BIKE TOURS - ON-ROAD TOURS
Bike Damage Insurance
All Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha and Kawasaki motorcycles have compulsory basic insurance.
For Honda CB500X and NX500 motorcycles only, we can offer a Limited Liability Agreement at 1,000 THB per day. This limits your liability to 40,000 THB in the event of bike damage.
ALL TOURS - IMPORTANT NOTES
In the event of an accident, any recovery costs or additional expenses incurred must be paid by the rider.
This includes the recovery vehicle, driver, fuel, hotels, food and drinks for the driver and any staff involved in the recovery process.
We will ensure that the rider/passenger and their motorcycle are returned to our office in Chiang Mai.
A full, unrestricted motorcycle licence is required.
An International Driving Permit (IDP – 1949 Convention) is mandatory under Thai law unless holding a Thai motorcycle licence.
